How fast can you do the Kessel Run?  Legends of the Galaxy kicked off a Kessel Run special event last week at Village Games in Champlin, MN.  This Kessel Run 3 part adventure began after a Rebel Cell attacked a Imperial spice shipment out of Kessel, transported by the Jiramma Kadijic.  This attack brought some shame to the Jiramma Kadijic and having the Empire turn to Jabba the Hutt of the Desilijic Kadijic, an old ally from the Clone Wars, deliver the replacement shipment.  To add salt to the wound Jiramma Kadijic had, Jabba turned this into a special Kessel Run event and invited members from all of the Hutt Kadijic to deliver the cargo runs.  Bargos the Hutt an ally of Sinasu the Hutt, the Rebel Alliance, and the BARON, called on the BARON to bring his best pilots to participate in this race.  

This is a great opportunity for the Rebel Alliance to gain intelligence on the Imperial Secret Activities in and around Kessel and the Maw Cluster.

In the first Kessel Run episode our heroes encounter Boshek, one of the only smugglers outside of Han Solo himself to run the Kessel run in under 12 parsecs.  Our Heroes must find a way to gain the astrogation data from Boshek that will help them make the Kessel Run through the Maw cluster in the shortest distance possible so that our Heroes can win the race for the Gorensla Hutt Kadijic an ally for the Rebel Alliance.

Once with the data our Heroes travel past an Imperial blockade of Kessel so that they can participate in the race itself.

This week on Sunday Sept. 4th, 2016 at the Fantasy Flight Games Event Center we continue our Kessel Run special event where our Heroes travel to Kessel and get their first glimpse at the competition in the Kessel Run.  Will the Heroes loose their secret Astrogation data?  Will they gain any insight on how to defeat the competition? or will they fall victim to sabotage before the race even begins?  

In addition the BARON wants to see if the House Tapani Duke from House Pelagia is being held prisoner in Kessel.  This will result in our Heroes to secretly travel into the Spice Mines of Kessel in a daring rescue mission.  Will our Heroes find the Duke?  Perhaps they manage to steal or gain access to a shipment of spice that is off the books.

Part three of the Kessel Run special series will take our Heroes into the depths of the Maw cluster participating in the Kessel Run.  What will they find in the Maw is a mystery that all must wait to see.
