How to Introduce the Characters
Shadow over Tarkintown is an introductory adventure in the Age of Rebellion storyline. This adventure is meant for new HEROES taking their first steps as Rebels. New characters are assumed to be local farmers or potential rebels who recently heard the call to action by Ezra Bridger. If your character is not from Lothal then you heard Ezra’s call and traveled to Lothal and found yourself at Tarkintown looking to Rebel.
If more experienced adventurers are introduced to this adventure the Game Master is encouraged to increase the threats in this encounter to challenge these PCs. They can be an existing Rebel Strike Team looking to help the locals after Ezra’s call to action.

Ways to Expand the Adventure
Shadow over Tarkintown has several bonus encounters built into the adventure. GMs are encouraged to include these adventures in order to expand the scenario. If the Game Master wishes to seed future adventures they may introduce a recurring nemesis in the form of an Imperial ISB Agent.

Story Elements are to be documented on the Player Character’s Adventure Logs as proof of what story elements they have completed during game play.
Did the PCs help Gruddik and his family escape by causing a distraction and successfully capturing the ITT? Did the PCs manage to help any other locals to escape with Gruddik. If so award 5 Duty.
What optional encounters did the PCs face while crossing Tarkintown in their fight to capture the ITT transports? Did the PCs recruit any NPCs to join them in their Rebel cause along the way? If so award them 5 Duty for recruitment.
Did the PCs successfully capture the Imperial Troop Transport (ITT) and escape Tarkintown? If so award the PCs 5 Duty for resource acquisition.
