How to Introduce the Characters

PCs who played in One Shot First: Across the River, Justice be Served, On Top of the World, Beyond the Veil, or Nowhere to Run will already be introduced to Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv and be familiar with his criminal organization and its front Tyrius Sysworks Syndicate.  This is the easiest way for the PCs to be introduced.

Players who completed Beyond the Veil are specifically familiar with the Dreadnought recently recovered that acts as the stage for this adventure.

If the PCs are new to Legends of the Galaxy or this storyline, they are hired by Tyrius Sysworks Syndicate to act as security for a meeting of major underworld powers in the Savareen Sector.  Player Characters with Piloting Skills will shine in this adventure.

Mission Objectives

  • Defend the Shadow’s Wing from Pirates
  • Board the Shadow’s Wing
  • Rescue the Hostages
  • Save Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv

Ways to Expand the Adventure

Muraga the Hutt:  After the results of the last adventure, Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv is now able to move his plans forward.  It is Muraga the Hutt will be invited to the decennial Savareen Merchants’ Alliance Meeting.  This is a chance for the players to reconnect with the Hutt whom originally introduce them to Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv.  As part of moving his operations forward he is revealing his connection to the Besadii Hutts to other Merchant members.  Knowledge of this is what motivates Bollin “The Grey” to attack Ranem’s starship.

Bringing the Hutts into this:  Bollin “The Grey” Blames Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv for bringing the Hutts into the Savareen Sector by allying himself with Muraga the Hutt and the Besadii Hutt Cartel.  As a result he hired Hutt goons from the Desilijic Hutt Cartel to attack the Dreadnaught and try to kill Ranem Tiiv.  Bollin’s dying words to Ranem will be, “You brought this upon yourself, you never should have brought the Hutts into all of this.”

If the PCs investigate the identity of the Commandos hired by Bolling the Grey, Muraga the Hutt is able to identify them as thugs who work for the Desilijic Hutts.

Enter a Black Sun:  Crashed on the planet of Taoska, Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv will contact his benefactor to provide rescue.  This will result in the Players finally learning, if they did not figure it out on their own before, that they have been working for Black Sun this entire time.  Guri and Prince Xizor will personally arrive with the rescue.  Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv will kneel before Prince Xizor and call him, “My Lord.”
