Prepping the Adventure
Read the Module
You are safe to only Read Act 1 of Long Arm of the Hutt at this point but we always recommend you read the entire module so you can have ideas for foreshadowing future events.
Other Rules to Consider:
Review Player Adventure Logs
Escape from Mos Shuuta: Ask your players to review their Adventure Logs for Escape from Mos Shuuta to determine how they managed to escape the city of Mos Shuuta. Pay special attention to if Trex the bounty hunter survived the previous adventure.
How to Introduce the Characters
Players who have completed Escape from Mos Shuuta should be ready to start already aboard the Krayt Fang. If you have a new player who has not played in Escape from Mos Shuuta a GM is encouraged to have the Players after escaping stop at a local landing facility somewhere on Tatooine. This will allow the PCs to bring on the additional new crew members before they embark on their grand adventure in Long Arm of the Hutt. If the entire party is new and has never played Escape from Mos Shuuta then the GM can simply inform the PCs that they just acquired the Krayt Fang from a local Mos Eisley Junk Dealer and are on their maiden voyage. No matter how you introduce the PCs this should be quick so the players can quickly get started on their adventure.

Ways to Expand the Adventure
Arriving at Nabat: While the PCs are meeting with the Militants lead by Nyn Kablo if the PCs are attempting to learn more about this operation they can succeed on a perception check to see information or a hologram communication to the Twi’lek Resistence from none other, father to Hera Syndulla than known Rebel Cham Syndulla. Cham was featured in Star Wars: Clone Wars™ and Star Wars: Rebels™. This is a nice way to help the PCs feel they are a part of the cinematic universe of Star Wars.
Ambush at the Old Lylek Den: The Game Master should review player’s adventure logs for Escape from Mos Shuuta to identify the fate of Trex. If Trex survived, then the GM should include him along with the other Bounty Hunters who attack the PCs. If Trex survives the Battle

Rugged Road to the Ryll Mines Story Elements
Story Elements are to be documented on the Player Character’s Adventure Logs as proof of what story elements they have completed during game play.
The GM should note all of the repairs the PCs made to the Krayt Fang and if they left any remaining outstanding issues they could not resolve. These issues will persist in all future adventures the PCs use the Krayt Fang until fixed.
The GM should note the fate of Thwheek? Was he destroyed in space? Did he shoot the PCs down? Thwheek’s fate comes up later in Long Arm of the Hutt.
If Trex the Trandoshan Bounty Hunter was used and survived the Ambush at the Old Lylek Den encounter he rushes into the tunnels and encounters the Lylek escaping leaving his fellow bounty hunters behind. This should be noted so he can return as a recurring nemesis for the party to face off against in the future.
How did the PCs deal with Angu Drombb? Did he survive and escape? Did they take the fight to the Cantina? Did they seek a non-violent solution? What evidence against Teemo the Hutt did they discover at Drombb’s base? If the PCs helped rid the Twi’lek People of New Meen then they gain 5 Duty toward the Rebellion as the Twi’lek Resistance Group are secretly members of the Rebellion. If a PC does not wish to gain the Duty they may have an obligation of their choice reduced by 5.
