How to Introduce the Characters
Beyond the Rim – Act 1: Tale of the Sa Nalaor opens with the PCs being contacted by IsoTech on the Wheel. The PCs were referred to IsoTech by their contact, THE BARON. Use the Obligation Owed to an Associate of REOM on page 9 of Beyond the Rim. If the PCs recently played in Adventures 4-6 Enemy of my Enemy the PCs actions resulted in THE BARON loosing the Jewel of Yavin and nearly getting taken captive my Muraga the Hutt. As a result the PCs owe him and are doing this job to help IsoTech and THE BARON locate the lost treasure ship the Sa Nalaor. The BARON wants to use funds in the Sa Nalaor to help fund his efforts in establishing a Rebel Base. He also hopes to use this to partner with IsoTech to help him grow his technology in developing a super computer used to make future predictions of activities a mechanical version of the lost Baran Do Sage Order.

Story Elements are to be documented on the Player Character’s Adventure Logs as proof of what story elements they have completed during game play.
Note what the PCs discovered about Cholganna, IsoTech, Raxus Prime, and the Sa Nalor. This will help in future adventures so the GM knows what they have already learned
Note how the PCs prepared for their trip to Cholganna and what gear they obtained
How much to the Players know about the Imperial Interests and note if there is a tracking device on their starship.
Note if the PCs rescued IT-3PO or if he is captured by the Yiyar Clan
