How to Introduce the Characters
PCs who played in One Shot First: Across the River, Justice be Served, or On Top of the World will already be introduced to Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv and be familiar with the fate of Dr. Gena Tan as they just recently completed a missions together. This is the easiest way for the PCs to be introduced. Players who participated in Across the River will already be familiar with the data cache recovered by Ranem Tiiv.
If the PCs are new to Legends of the Galaxy or this storyline, they are hired by Tyrius Sysworks Syndicate to pull of this scouting mission.
Ranem’s scientists while investigating the research from the Data Cache recovered in Across the River have discovered something about a lost Dreadnaught star cruiser, The Shadow’s Wing. With all of the heat coming down on the Players with their recent missions on Rodia Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv has decided that it be best for the PCs to not be on-world for a little bit. He tasks the PCs to track down this missing starship and recover it. Having a warship of this scale is an opportunity that he cannot miss.
Mission Objectives
- Scout the hyperspace path of a missing dreadnaught
- Locate the Shadow’s Wing
- Defeat the AI
- Return the Dreadnaught to Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv
Ways to Expand the Adventure
Into the Unknown: Ranem Tiiv and several of his agents will march aboard the PCs starship unannounced. Ranem Tiiv will inspect the ship and help himself to some of the food. Depending on the results of On Top of the World, Ranem “The Glove” Tiiv will either be happy or upset with the PCs. He will remind them that they are only safe because of his good graces. Because of increased heat from the Players recent adventures on Rodia he is sending the PCs on this scouting errand. He will ask that the PCs make regular reports during their mission.
Always a Bigger Fish: Describe the creature in Always a Bigger Fish to be similar to that of the space creature seen in Solo a Star Wars Story.
